We have collected the “comparative” reactions of Meta<\/strong> and Marc Zuckerberg<\/strong> regarding their latest headset, the Quest 3<\/strong> (between strategies, results and partnerships), and those coming from the East, with Alibaba<\/strong>‘s new investments in the Augmented Reality<\/strong> sector.<\/p>\n

We pay attention on how Disney<\/strong> decided to collaborate with Fortnite<\/strong> to evolve its vision of the Metaverse<\/strong> (while Disney+<\/strong> continues to offer its content for Apple Vision<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Microsoft<\/strong> expands Teams<\/strong> to evolve traditional video calls towards experiences that until now were still only available to a limited user base, while working with Meta<\/strong> to also nurture Virtual Reality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We dedicate a parenthesis to the identity evolution of social networks<\/strong>: different points of view lead to thinking about the roles that old and new platforms<\/strong> are taking on for different generations of users<\/strong> (examining their current uses and geographical areas of origin).<\/p>\n

In the field of Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>, there is the Gemini<\/strong> launch by Google<\/strong> (which replaces Bard<\/strong> in the competition with ChatGPT<\/strong>) integrating its services into the hardware and software solutions available to the Big G, but there is also SORA<\/strong> (text to video services<\/strong>) by OpenAI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Unity<\/strong> and Unreal<\/strong> are meanwhile planning their improvement strategy<\/strong> to compete with generative softwares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
