In this edition of the Newsletter<\/strong> “Future. Us and Web 3.0<\/strong>” we have selected news<\/strong>, data and research<\/strong>, videos<\/strong>, use cases<\/strong> and many ideas<\/strong> to understand how and to what extent AI<\/strong> is going well beyond the PC<\/strong> and ChatGPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hardware<\/strong> and software<\/strong> news in the world of emerging technologies<\/strong>, with Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> that enhances Mixed Reality<\/strong> (XR<\/strong>), new glasses<\/strong>, visors<\/strong>, smartphones<\/strong> and services<\/strong> together with the increasingly present Augmented Reality<\/strong>. Accelerations also in the Cyber<\/strong> \u200b\u200bworld and increasingly smart humanoids but also more human in “body” language.<\/p>\n

We examine Meta<\/strong>‘s data and motivations regarding the new Quest 3S<\/strong> visor, available at a lower price than the previous one to facilitate an entry into the world of Mixed<\/strong> and Virtual Reality<\/strong>. Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong> presented the new “ORION<\/strong>” glasses, made in collaboration with Ray-Ban<\/strong> and carrying a lot of technology inside them, with projectors that create holograms inside the lens, eye and hand tracking and voice control.<\/p>\n

\"Meta<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apple<\/strong> presented its AI<\/strong> technology with the release of the new iPhone 16<\/strong>, which brings on board its personal “Visual intelligence<\/strong>“, a system of machine learning and Augmented Reality. Google<\/strong> instead introduced its Pixel 9<\/strong> smartphone and its own evolution of Artificial Intelligence, Gemini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

YouTube<\/strong> also announced AI<\/strong> services for the Creators<\/strong> of the platform.<\/p>\n

Snapchat<\/strong> presented its Spectacles 2<\/strong>, the new release of Augmented Reality<\/strong> glasses, while Pico<\/strong> released its 4Ultra<\/strong> viewers for Virtual<\/strong> and Mixed Reality<\/strong> aimed at training<\/strong>, development<\/strong> and education<\/strong> fields.<\/p>\n

\"Snapchat<\/p>\n

For the Robotics<\/strong> sector we analyze the health<\/strong> sector, and also news from Neuro Link<\/strong> (by Elon Musk<\/strong>), Disney<\/strong> and its AnimaTronics<\/strong> which uses humanoid machines for film and entertainment productions, Figure<\/strong> and the Italian based\u00a0 Oversonics,<\/strong> that are both starting functional robotics tests within the assembly lines<\/strong> of large companies.<\/p>\n

\"Walt<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bloomingdale<\/strong> opens its virtual mall<\/strong> with 3D virtual environments in the Metaverse<\/strong> to Chanel<\/strong>, Nespresso<\/strong>, Ralph Lauren<\/strong>, while Adidas<\/strong>‘ digital clothing collections for avatars also arrive in Fortnite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

New research from McKinsey<\/strong>, Vive<\/strong> and the United Nations<\/strong> confirms the spread interest in Mixed Reality<\/strong> among authoritative sectors and transversal professional disciplines.<\/p>\n
