"Futuro.

The complexity of emerging technologies made simple and understandable.

–

Latest news on the XR side, including new glasses and films with visors, Robotics, Crypto and the usual AI.

In this edition of the Newsletter we talk about what has happened in the field of Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, Robotics and Web 3.0, between Immersive Technologies, Robotics, Retail 5.0, Crypto and political scenarios.

New immersive experiences and productions of films for viewers are coming, with Apple presenting its hyper-realistic film “Submerged”.

"Apple

Evolutions and new strategic roles for the Metaverse: Amazon (through its R&D department “Beyond”) has created a virtual store for the Christmas period based on the concept of visiting a physical store. Kamala Harris also created her own world on Fortnite.

"Amazon

Following the excellent sales results, alongside rumours of a possible investment in Essilor – Luxottica, Meta opened a temporary store in Los Angeles, in November, for their Augmented Reality glasses (made in collaboration with Ray-Ban) and also for its Quest viewers.

Following the recent updates form Tesla (Optimus), Figure, Boston Dynamics, Unitree, we check on Meta, which is now also moving into the Robotics sector, where the focus is increasingly set on the issue of touch and smell by the humanoids (through AMI, Advanced Machine Intelligence).

"Unitree

Salesforce arrives alongside Copilot (Microsoft), Gemini (Google), Apple Intelligence in the field of aids to optimize personal and professional efficiency, inducing a due reflection on the adoption and investments in AI by companies, specifically by Italian ones.

A necessary analysis also concerns the impact of Donald Trump‘s election on the world of cryptocurrencies, with widespread increases, starting with Bitcoin.

Even the Tesla stock follows the events and political hypotheses of CEO Elon Musk on the stock exchange.

In virtual worlds news we see the strategic partnership between WPP and Roblox happening: training, performance measurements and Roblox certifications are just some of the announced imminent projects.

"WPP

Extra bonus in this issue for insights into knowledge, experience, reflection and discussion with advice on selected readings and visits to museums.

This “Newsletter” category within the site is dedicated to fresh articles that explore the different aspects of the Future concept. A journey towards the new internet, or rather the new web, carried out objectively, avoiding dangerous enthusiasms as well as banal clichés, listening to the opinion of many people who are moving in this world successfully but also with some perplexity.
