War and Peace with Technology.
Current events in the Middle East demonstrate how technology plays a crucial strategic role in military success. In this regard, I would like to share a research presented in Cernobbio by TEHA (The European House-Ambrosetti), conducted in collaboration with Leonardo, a world leader in the aeronautical, military and defense sector.
Traditionally, the military field is a key indicator of technological development: new technologies receive huge military investments, while mature ones tend to disappear from the “radar”. The relationship between Europe, the United States and the rest of the world highlighted by this research leads to some reflections on the limited role we play today in this global scenario.
