At the beginning of 2022, in an article for Dirigente (the monthly information and culture magazine for managers, executives and executive professionals in the tertiary sector) I had the opportunity to explain the reasons why the Metaverse closely concerns us.
From the evolution of the web to the increase in the adoption of digital devices through periods of general lockdown, a “phygital” world has been introduced into our lives, a mix of real and digital that brings with it new challenges and new business opportunities .
The “Meta” universe (“going beyond” in Greek) uses the exponential progress of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies, but touches on economic (with cryptocurrencies and NFTs), social and psychological aspects (the “human factors“) as well.
