On the 5th of december took place the first of three events on the topics of immersive technologies and “spatial computing” organized by STEP (whose activities concern laboratories and workshops with authoritative representatives of science and technology, sociology and psychology, art, culture) together with VR AR Association Italy.
The first of these meetings, on December 5, focused on the topic of Augmented Reality, a technology which is very simple to use but also very powerful, being based on Artificial Intelligence, and capable of providing us with personal and contextual information, adding them all to our real field of vision.
The second meeting will be held in March and will concern Virtual Reality (VR), the third will concern Mixed Reality (MR).
The characteristic of these events is to meet various Italian experts who create products and services for companies that aim to improve the customer experience: new “hybrid experiences” where digital and real worlds merge, thanks to the use of viewers but also smartphones, as will happen precisely on December 5th.
Practical cases and possible applications will be illustrated and examined during the meeting.

- Lorenzo Montagna (founder of Seconda-Stella, President in Italy of VR AR Association, author of 4 Mar-tech books)
- Katherina Ufnarovskaia (Co-Founder of Augmented City, expert in the field of Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and immersive technologies)
- Fabio Codebue (programmer and developer of immersive solutions for AR and VR)
- Donato De Ieso (Founder of dilium srl, expert in Computer Vision / AR, he has followed important IT innovation projects for various multinational companies).
