A report drawn up by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Accenture analyzes the recent evolutions of research, development, investments, adoption and value of the Metaverse and the related social implications (deriving from the use of these new technologies) for users and individuals .
The reflection investigates how the advancement of generative Artificial Intelligence is facilitating the growth of the Metaverse, which in return offers greater possibilities for consumers to access AI.
This new scenario requires collaboration between public and private entities involved in the topic, to define a dialogue and international guidelines, which allow economic and social progress of the Metaverse and which, at the same time, protect people’s individual rights.
